Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates and partners open new campus in Jeffersontown.
LOUISVILLE, Ky. — For the first time, three Kentucky organizations dedicated to organ and tissue donation have come together to create one campus in Louisville.
The Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates, Trust For Life, and the Kentucky Lions Eye Bank have all moved into a new building, creating the Donate Life Campus.
“This allows us to have more collaboration, more innovation to work with the three major nonprofits dedicated to this mission in our state. So, that’s the Kentucky Lion’s Eye Bank, The Kentucky Circuit Clerk’s Trust For Life and Kentucky Organ Donor Affiliates,” said Shelly Snyder, the executive director for Trust For Life and KODA President of Strategic Partnerships.
She says the new campus allows the organizations to be more efficient, combine resources, and work as a team to save lives. The next project on the Donate Life Campus will include an eternal flame honoring donor families.
The facility is located on Linn Station Road in Jeffersontown.
